PLCTag
The PLCTag is used in fleet tracking to provide identification information to a reader device to ensure the connected equipment can be identified, tracked and verified. The PLCTag also ensures that the correct trailer (or similar) is attached to the right tractor. Its small size (approx I.5 inches square) means the tracking device can usually be mounted inside a trailer's J560 housing.

V300GWP - Truck GPS Tracking
The Vector 300GWP is specifically developed for the commercial trucking industry. This truck GPS product has all the functionality of the Vector 300FM but in addition has an internal PLC4Truck's reader as well as Wi-Fi capability. When used for truck tracking in conjunction with a PLC4Ttag fitted to the trailer(s), the Internal PLC4Trucks reader enables the V300GWP to detect trailer hook and drop hook events. A full API library is also provided with the truck GPS device which enables the user to add trailer tracking with a few lines of code.
Wi-Fi capability enables low cost communications when in range of an authenticated Wi-Fi hotspot and is ideal for transfer of non real time data such as log files, trip logs, and over the air software updates.
